Just Want A Title
Here is scenario that I came up with based on the possibility of the Falcons trading Tevin Coleman. I don't think the Falcons can pay big money for Freeman and Coleman. Even though Dimitroff denies it, they are probably open to trading him: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/22587191/atlanta-falcons-general-manager-thomas-dimitroff-says-team-not-considering-trading-running-back-tevin-coleman Free Agents: Free Agents: Cornelius Carradine DE Lamarcus Joyner DB Anthony Hitchens LB Draft: Adding Tevin Coleman to a roster with Tion Green and Theo Riddick should give us a pretty solid set of RB’s. I think Tion Green could turn out to be a significant contributor in 2018. I am not counting on Ansah to stay healthy so I added DE’s in free agency and the draft. Rd 1—Tim Settle DT: Our defense wasn’t the same without Haloti Ngata. Enough said. Rd 2—Justin Lawler DE: An under-rated prospect who will be a riser as draft day approaches. Rd 3—Cedrick Wilson WR: A deep threat who could become something more. Golden Tate isn’t getting any younger. Rd 4—Jerome Baker LB: A solid special-teamer and depth LB. Still only a junior so he could develop into something more. Rd 5—Josh Adams RB: A solid RB prospect. Rd 7—Folorunso Fatukasi DT: Good stats, good size and lots of experience. Worth a look in Round 7 and he has a really cool name. Thoughts?
Lionized
Did we swap first for Coleman? What’s the trade?
Just Want A Title
We trade back from 20 to 26. The Falcons move up from 26 to 20.
flyguy1609
don't mind trading back for a rb but do we know if Coleman can become a rb1, hes been partnered up with Freeman.. if we traded for a rb, id rather get Mark Ingram or sign Crowell... I like the draft though
lioneye22
Your FA And draft didn't address the O-line which at least needs tweaking. Even if you got Tevin Coleman, he's not going to do much if the line doesn't block. Rather look for draft pick. Less wear and tear. RBs have a short shelf life and are only as good as the O-Line. Plus we got enough WR s. Can always pick up one off the waiver wire
