Sasquatch
Honestly, $33mil is a number that’s probably the most defensible and easy to move on from figure. Do it, explain it, move on from it, and hope we get another Super Bowl or three before it’s all in the books. Less or more money and there will be drama. Any talk about expecting Rodgers to take less “for the good of the team” is foolish and unrealistic.

You would be surprised at the number of people I’ve met who think he should only take 20 or so because “what’s really the difference?”. Like you said just get it over with and move on

cannondale
https://football.realgm.com/wiretap/40622/Aaron-Rodgers-Seeking-Opt-Out-Clause-In-New-Contract Interesting If you're a read between the lines kind of guy, you could say this is a smokescreen so he could opt out for other reasons, which I kind of believe

Packerraymond
This was first reported on Thursday, mostly discussed Friday and still carrying over to today. Does that make it #fakenewsthursday, #fakenewsfriday or do we just go straight to #fakenewsweekend? I'd be willing to bet anything Rodgers gets his 33m and there is no opt outs. You have to take everything with a grain of salt these days It is a bit troubling that as of late, agents / players are not just pushing the $ envelope, but everything else under the sun too. Football players have been eyeing those NBA contracts for years. The next contract talks should be interesting
