Actually, the Yankees can but it is not a good game plan.  As much as I despise TB (approaching Redsox level disgust), I admire the way the build their team.  It is like they have it figured out while the rest of the league including the Yanks still have not.

They figure it out and then trade everyone away for great prospects. Rinse and repeat

I agree.  But their "rebuilding" time seems pretty quick.  I think their biggest advantage is recognizing good young pitchers and developing them.  That is the biggest key to their team, pitching.  They are the anti-Jets.  I can't help but think how the Yanks would be with a rotation of Cole, Severino, German, Tanaka, Devi/Monty/Happ/Paxton.

There is a god, I was worried for a while, but after he knock the hated Yankees out of the playoffs I feel much better. Now he has time to help our poor Jets. Never hated the Yankees players, how can you hate guys like Phil Joe D, Yogi  and Don Mattingly. I just hated the organization.

Wow  2020 is the bad year for MLB legends.

2020 is a bad year for everyone.  I hope I live to 91.  Then again, maybe not, I poured iced tea on my Cheerios this morning.  **** it, I ate them anyway.

It sure has been. Twice this week I was told I am living in the past once on this board and when i was food shopping with my wife, we were in the super market and I pick up a T bone steak and I said look at this $7.99 a pound for steak I remember when we were first married we payed $1.50 a pound, she said that is the trouble with you, you are still living in the past. With all these virus restrictions in Florida, food shopping is our big day out.

What ever happen to our future super star people were raving about Chris Herndon?? So far this year he has caught only 13 passes for 98 yards average 7.5 yards a catch. And he ran up those great stats up in only 6 games. And this was to be his break out year.
