Trade compensation update: Browns get a mid-round 2019 pick from Patriots, and Patriots get DT Danny Shelton and a 2018 draft pick from Browns, per source.

Browns are making moves because they were 0-16 and are overhauling their team.  I like the moves but Tyrod is not a great starter and if that's their plan instead of drafting a QB they are moronic.  I would assume it allows them to grab Barkley and then get whats left at QB at 4. 

I like the move of Kizer for Randall but Randall had a horrible year last year.  He was rated the 55th best outside CB last year which means he is an NFL starter but barely.  Either way it helps Cleveland and gives them options in the draft. 

Landry was a solid trade.  I think he and Gordon and Coleman will make a nice group for any young QB along with Njoku.  I think this is the best trade but they were able to make it because they have so many picks available and have the cap room to sign Landry.

I'm guessing that Tyrod Taylor is just a stopgap guy that they feel comfortable starting a new QB. It gives the Browns a bit of a higher floor too - fans are tired of being terrible.
