First Round Mock Draft from nozzyboi

1.       Cleveland Browns – Saquon Barkley RB Penn State

Browns can’t afford to not draft the best player in the draft. With the trend of first round RBS making immediate impacts. Cleveland needs Barkley to bring life to a hungry fanbase. And he takes away some of the pressure of the Browns finally finding a legit QB.

2.       NY Giants – Sam Darnold QB USC

Eli Manning has done so much for the Giants. But the time has come for them to finally find his replacement. Sam Darnold is the perfect fit for he can sit third string behind Manning and Smith. Learn and eventually take over. This makes the NFC east very fun to watch for the next ten years.

3.       Indianapolis Colts – Bradley Chubb DE NC State

Indianapolis needs to go back to what made them really click on defense. Having those two Defensive Ends who gave you about 20 sacks together. Starts with Chubbs.

4.       *Buffalo Bills (via Browns (via Texans) – Josh Allen QB Wyoming

Bills Trade up to draft their QB of the future. Organization was never really behind Tyrod Taylor. And now that they have tasted the Playoffs. It’s time to get their guy.

5.       Denver Broncos – Quenton Nelson OG Notre Dame

Denver picks up Kirk Cousins in the offseason. Leaving them to draft someone to protect him and open up holes for CJ Anderson. I wouldn’t be shocked if Denver trades back as well.

6.       NY Jets) – Josh Rosen QB UCLA

Rosen and his personality fits New York. I honestly expect the Jets to draft him.

7.       Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Denzel Ward CB Ohio State

Ohio State has been putting out quality Cornerbacks for about ten years now. Almost 1/3 of NFL teams have a starting CB from OSU. Ward continues this tradition. Solid CB with size, speed, and is glue to WRs.

8.       Chicago Bears – Orlando Brown OT Oklahoma

The bears need an offensive line. Orlando Brown is perfect protection for their blossoming young QB, Trubisky. Bears need a WR but they can’t pass on probably the best Offensive linemen in the draft.

9.       San Francisco 49ers – Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech

The 49ers got Jimmy G. Now its time to revamp that defense to make another run at a SB title. Someone who will get after the QB.

10.   Oakland Raiders – Minkah Fitzpatrick Safety Alabama

Minkah Fitzpatrick is a versatile player who can play Free Safety or Strong Safety. And Nickel if you need him to cover. With Reggie Nelson in his 12th season; he’ll potentially take over that Free Safety Position.

11.   Miami Dolphins – Derrius Juice RB LSU

Dolphins traded Ajayi to the eventual SB champs, Philadelphia Eagles. Juice is the perfect fit in a rebuilding offense.

12.   Cincinnati Bengals – Roquan Smith, Linebacker Georgia

With this draft pick, the Bengals line backing core gets really young, and fast. Scary.

13.   Washington Redskins – Maurice Hurst DT Michigan

Best DT on the board, and a need for Washington going up against Ezekiel Elliot, Jay Ajayi, and whoever the Giants bring in.

14.   Green Bay Packers – Josh Jackson CB Iowa

Ball hawking corner who will fit in this system.

15.   *Dallas Cowboys (via Cardinals) – Calvin Ridley WR Alabama

Dallas trades up to draft a young WR to fit in this young, new look offense. Ridley is a a complete WR. Speed, routes, hands; and someone that will challenge Dez Bryant.

16.   Baltimore Ravens – Connor Williams OT Texas

Baltimore needs to address their QB situation but before they do that; maybe fix that offensive line.

17.   LA Chargers – Vita Vea DT Washington

Chargers always seem to need someone on the defensive line. So I gave them a gap stuffer.

18.   Seattle Seahawks – Sony Michel RB Georgia

Surprise pick of the draft but Sony Michel makes an immediate impact. I can see this pick happening with Seattle getting rid of half of their offense. And in fear of making up for it, they reach on a potential steal.

19.   *Arizona Cardinals (via Cowboys) – Lamar Jackson QB Louisville

Lamar Jackson is very underrated as a QB.

20.   Detroit Lions – Sam Hubbard DE Ohio State

Hubbard needs grooming to become a go to DE on every snap. Who better to groom him than one of the better defensive coordinators in Patricia.

21.   *Cleveland Browns (via Bills) – Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma

Baker Mayfield isn’t Johnny Manziel. He is a winner, and he actually can play the QB position. He isn’t about the lime light; he is about playing football. And now with Tyron Taylor playing out the remainder of his contract; Mayfield can sit and learn.

22.   *Cleveland Browns (via Bills (Via Chiefs) – Christian Kirk, WR Texas A&M

Browns lucked out with this trade with Buffalo. They need a solid #2 WR to take pressure off of the new look, Josh Gordon. The Mature Gordon is now becoming a leader.

23.   LA Rams – Billy Price Center Ohio State

Best Center in the draft and someone the rams need.

24.   Carolina Panthers – Ronald Jones II RB USC

Lets address the elephant in the room. Panthers made a mistake in drafting Christian McCaffery. Now they have to go out and draft a more complete RB. I believe moving McCaffery to Slot WR is best.

25.   Tennessee Titans – Mike Hughes CB UCF

Hughes was injured but prior to that; he was a stud Cornerback. Top Ten prospects. Titans got a steal

26.   Atlanta Falcons - James Washington WR Oklahoma State

Flacons need a WR who can spread the field. Here comes Mr. Washington

27.   New Orleans Saints – Rashaan Evans MLB Alabama

Mante Ta’o was decent but they need a stud MLB that can start right away and contribute to a very good defense.

28.   Pittsburgh Steelers – Derwin James Safety Florida State

Steelers need to replace Mike Mitchell. He’s old and slow. Derwin James is perfect for the Steel Curtain

29.   Jacksonville Jaguars - Courtand Sutton WR SMU

Jags losing Robinson to free agency sets up a potential steal in Courtland Sutton. He reminds a lot of people of Terrell Owens.

30.   Minnesota Vikings – Kolton Miller OT UCLA

Vikings were out of the Kirk Cousins race but I believe they will keep Bradford and Keenum. They need some insurance on that offensive line.

31.   New England Patriots - Marcus Davenport DE UTSA

That defense let the Patriots down. She barely got sacks last year. Tom Brady is on borrowed time; putting them near the edge of rebuilding. So start with that defensive line.

32.   Philadelphia Eagles – Harold Landry OLB Boston College

Eagles traded for Michael Bennett from the Seattle Seahawks. Harold Landry is a scary thought….

Dallas Trades 2018 2nd rd, and 2018 1st round to Arizona for #15 overall (2018)

Buffalo Bills Trade Tyrod Taylor, #21 and #22 (2018) to Cleveland for #4 overall (2018)

Okay let me help some of you guys out. The combine doesn't mean jack to these NFL teams. The Combine is really used for extra footage to an already established resume that most of these teams possess. The pro day workouts are where the money is made. The teams have their own draft boards that they go off of. They trust their scouts and they use that info to build their rosters every year. The NFL combine doesnt effect a player's draft stock. It's eye candy. To be honest, the Combine is just TV money.

umm there were questions on his ability to Play Tackle in the NFL because of his lack of athleticism. hes done nothing to fix it.  he was considered a mid first at best and hes shot down because of his Laziness and his extremely below par workout.   theres only been like 4 guys that slow and they all went Undrafted and never played a game.  what makes him any different from him.

how about last years case of Damien mama(he was a projected mid round pick) and he went Undrafted after a below average workout and a very slow 40 even for an olinemen.
