Why Not Forfeit Instead of Tanking?

Honestly one of the dumbest questions I've seen on this forum.

1. It would lead to massive ramifications for the team from the league.

2. It would lead to a lose of revenue.

3. You lose out on a chance to get experience for players.

4. Creates a terrible culture for the team.

I could go on but I think those are enough.

put this in the FF HOF

Between this and the 17 posts by him on in the Dirk thread, he has to be trolling.

That, and the Packers should resign TE M. Bennett comment.

Flew too close too the sun iyam.

We shall never believe Lonestar to be earnest again.

I like that they got Graham. Bennett is a headcase, but talent-wise, I like him better than Cook, Rodgers, and Quarless.

because the players are actually trying to win games and get better?

For sure. But it'd be interesting to see if a team would actually do it to close out their season. Like just one game.

They obviously wouldn't, but I guess it's technically an option.

Forfeiting games means forfeiting money, and people like their money.

Good point. But in the past, there were teams who lost money every year.

However, you'd think that sales revenues and lease payments from vendors would outweigh daily operating costs.

That would be taking things to far I think. Again the league has to do something with tanking, I'm not sure what they can do about tanking.

Have the teams in the lottery play in a bracket, where the winner gets the first overall pick in the draft.

Or maybe just make the draft lottery even more volatile than it's going to be soon.
