wackywabbit Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 I did not expect to reign him. He was atrocious as a LT in his first few years. Played solid as a starter at guard last year. But, we have Yanda and Lewis coming back to starting roles there, and Siragusa if he recovers as well. It's not a ton of money for an O-lineman, and maybe if they want to slide Alex Lewis out to RT, it makes more sense. But, I would have rather have thrown all that money and more at Ryan Jensen. I think he's a far more pivotal piece. Our O-line was much much better in 2017 than 2016, despite losing our guard duo, in significant part because we had a capable player at center. He played solid at LG this past season, but is still a very bad OT. I'm really not sure though why we're throwing money at him when we have glaring needs elsewhere and better players needing to be paid elsewhere.
