A better QB is supposed to improve your offense almost single handedly. It’s the reason QBs get the big bucks. Our offense is worse this year, I think that makes it fair to question the investment one way or another.

Does the QB run block? Because that’s the main difference between this year’s offense and last year’s offense.

The Vikings signed Cousins to give them a more stable presence at QB. One who they could trust to play more consistently to the level that Keenum gave them in 2017. He’s done that.

So you can’t make the argument that we should invested linemen as opposed to a more expensive QB?

Well that is what the Jaguars and Giants did and how much has that helped them be successful teams versus us with Cousins?

Well we were 13-3 with an allegedly inferior QB last year. So has Cousins helped us to be a successful team?

No one said that Keenum was an inferior QB in 2017. What was said is that Keenum couldn’t have been trusted to repeat that level of performance. And watching him in Denver, it was the correct call.

Cousins was\is still the right move. Yes, OL has gone to crap, but we knew that was going to be the case. Big difference is that the schedule has been brutel & the offense scheme has been bad.

We are asking the OL to overperform their average for 3 games to get back to the NFCCG. Possible? Maybe. I'll take those odds over asking a journey man QB to play 3 games over his average.

One game. Who do you take, Cousins or Keenum?

He's a mean one, this purple Grinch
wcblack thinking this decision is a cinch.
he's down on Kirk, for that we see
asking us which quarterback will be
the best choice to win one equal game
when the answer is obvious and we all know his name
fielding the better team, having the better plan, and winning is our goal
while mean Mr Black finds his stocking stuffed with coal.

I don't think it's plain at all. Cousins hasn't led a game winning drive all season long. Some guys win when the chips are down. Some just cash in.
