Is he even good anymore?

This

Havent watched much of him at all this last season.

Any Lions fans have some input on his play?

He isnt going to be playing a large % of snaps, which is ideal for both parties.

I thought he was mostly a 2 down player.

Not good for pass rushing situations.

He isn't going to be playing full time, he'll be fine as a rotational player IMO.

And yet....the Eagles wanted that depth.  Because, for DL, being fresh and ready to bring hell each down matters.   Rotation depth matters so much if you want to win.

Eagles go into FA for a rotation depth guy even though their cap is tight.   Browns trade away a cheap rotation depth guy for a 35 pick move on Day 3 (in a year where the GM is trying to make a statement on winning).    Just saying.

It sure seems like Joe Douglas is calling a lot of the shots with all the Ravens vets they pick up: Jernigan, Ngata, Torrey Smith, Corey Graham, Ellerbe

Come to think of it, with the recent fortunes of the two franchises since he jumped, I'm kind of surprised he doesn't get more attention as a GM somewhere.
