I'd rather see Sims at FB. Burton was crap, and we seem tied to Sims due to his contract. Maybe he can at least be a plus FB.

We weren't tied to his contract, we could have easily cut him at the beginning of the league year for little to no cap hit. I also don't think Burton was crap, i think he did everything that he was supposed to do considering he's a fullback playing 15-30 primarily lead blocking snaps a game

He had less snaps in 16 games on offense than Tanner Gentry (who played in only 4 games), in an offense that was constantly running the ball. If he didn't suck, he'd have been on the field more. He wasn't a good lead blocker, he was mediocre at best. It wasn't like having him on the field would telegraph our playcalling any more than Loggain's run-run-pass pattern did.

If he had been on the field for 15-30 runs, the offense would have suffered even more.

That's just ourlads depth chart.

Oh I was just stating my opinion on Burton. To be completely honest I forgot he was even on the team for a bit.

When you remember two longsnappers we had but not a "starter" then I think that says enough. lol
