Is there any possibility they move Monty to the slot receiver and move Cobb outside? What do you football gurus think?

I’m just a dumb fan and not a guru at much of anything but IMO they’d be better off moving Monty outside. Cobb has shown on countless occasions he’s not capable of playing outside. He’s got no size and doesn’t have much speed. The slot gives him the best opportunity for broken plays which is what his game is built upon. IMO he struggles terribly when he’s contested.

OAK signed Nelson for $13M Guaranteed of a total contract value of $15M.   86% guaranteed of the total contract.

I'm surprised by the amount of guaranteed money. He looked terrible last year, even when the Hundley factor is considered. It makes me wonder if he was playing with an undisclosed injury that is expected to be healed before the season begins.

An injury would explain how slow Nelson looked to me toward the end of 2017, but you would think that the GB staff would have known about said potential injury.

GB staff knew, but WE didn't know. Same deal as with Adams

I'd say it's more likely Jordy re-signs with us after getting cut by the Raiders and realizing that Rodgers and his connection is what kept his career alive this year until Rodgers got hurt.  I am so ready to welcome Jordy back as a redzone specialist for his final season.
