RamRod
Sounds like he may be getting a new deal. I’ll update the thread tomorrow depending on what the news is.

RamRod
So what’s the likelihood Kayvon Webster gets cut now?

Car_Ramrod
Solid signing. Very happy with this deal. He’s a great NB in Wade’s defense. I definitely think Websters gone
DEE RAWL
The pass defense is going to be fun to watch. If they can get the front 7 squared away to stop the run and rush the passer, this team could be special.
RamsFan24
I love It, really happy to have Nickell back. We are Deep in talent at the db position.
stl4life07
Talib, Peters, NRC, Shields, Webster, Hill, Peterson. That’s a deep talented group. If I’m the Rams I won’t cut Webster. He will be back but the my sense is the Rams will ease him back and he will play whenever they feel like he is ready. Talib is 32 and Shields is one more concussion away from retiring (according to him). Webster is the Rams starter for the future but this particular season could be a lost one at least for the majority of it. There is no need to cut him. He'll start the season on the PUP, likely, and we'll see where we go from there. Like really, unless the cap-space garnered by cutting him is the make-weight between us signing a true difference-maker, what's really the point? Just to have the space... that we could get by cutting him pretty much any time? Versus, keeping him, letting him return at a less-stressful pace, and if he does show-out we've either got depth or someone that could be moved at the trade-deadline. His roster bonus is guaranteed this season, so that's not putting a time crunch on us. It's $3.5m, that's not going to make or break us, but it also might net us a pick (possibly conditional, possibly not) down the line if/when a team looking at a possible run at the playoffs loses a starting CB or two. BEASToftheEAST4
Great re-signing. Once we knew Watkins was gone, NRC was our most important player to retain. John Sullivan should be next unless they want to go after someone like Weston Richburg. Back to the topic, it's great to have NRC lock down the nickel spot for the next three years. Richburg will be signing with the 49ers tomorrow. Spencer Long could be a name to keep an eye on.
LARams91
Great news. Our secondary is pretty elite now. Grab some inside backers and rushers and we're ready to roll!
