The structure of this contract locks him into 3 maybe 4 seasons. On the plus side, he will only cost around $12M per during the final 3 years of the contract. Meaning Johnson’s cap hit this season is only $10M. Very unlike Maccagnan’s usual contract structures. Makes me wonder what else they have planned. Adding spencer long is nice but winters still blows, carp was bad last year, shell is below average and beachum is average. we need to be better than that or well still suck.
