Terrance Mitchell to the Browns

Wow! What a great steal by them. Some think he was the chief's best cover corner over the last few seasons.

Anyway, guessing he'll probably replace Jamar Taylor. Either way, totally underwhelming signing.

Yeah, but its not like we are competing on an even plain with all other 31 teams, we are competing with agents and our reputation as well.

You're also bringing a .357 Magnum to a knife fight with all of the cap space available. The Browns should be able to go over the top on any offer to just about any FA.

Still doesnt mean anything. Trumain Johnson apparently turned down the Browns massive offer because he was unsure on their coaching staff.

Either way, is this just another 3rd CB depth signing or is Mitchell actually good enough to start?

He's a scrapper, he's gonna win some he's gonna lose some but he's always fighting. Hes probably not an ideal full time starter but I think he's a good get for the Browns. Sad to see him go.

This by no means is a blockbuster signing but it is a good signing. Another player with a physical mentality

You do you, Browns. You do you.

Says a fan of a team that has exactly one more playoff appearance and the same amount of playoff wins as the Browns since 2000.

He's best as a depth guy. Great effort and attitude, looks very good at times, but too inconsistent and fails too hard at times to be a reliable starter. You can do worse, but you wanna do better. His spot was why CB was seen as a need for us when we still had Peters. Why we signed Revis last year too.

I disagree. He is a role player.
