Our making these big runs at tackles doesn't make any sense if Joe is coming back. Also, we would have heard something by now if Joe WAS coming back. It would make no sense to scare the fans like that if he was just going to come back. The fact that it's so hush-hush right now makes it a hundred percent clear that Joe is retiring and setting up a speech etc. etc. It's a tough year for Joe to retire as far as any decent tackle worth their salt to come in and try to replace him. I can’t imagine walking away after an injury and an 0-16 season, I’d want some sort of redemption. Maybe he’s just had enough... can’t blame him. Tip of the cap either way, he was a gem.
