Mid Free Agency Mock Draft

The trouble with most of these mocks is simple. Everyone of them, wants to give us the moon, by first giving us 1st rounds in the second and 3rd rounds and 2nd rounders in the 3rd and 4th round. If only it was true?

If we draft say, Darnold at 1 and both the Giants and the Colts go QB, Buffalo is not going to pay a fortune for the #4 QB in the draft, you can forget that fantasy! Second, if both the Giants and the Colts draft QB's(after all, Eli is 37 and nobody has a clue if Luck will ever play again with any kind of throwing talent), then we will probably just take Barkley, the hell with trading with Buffalo. Buffalo also just signed McCarron and may feel they are in the stronger bargaining position if we want to trade with them??? So whatever the trading chart say, will be about the best we can hope for in a trade and nothing more! Buffalo after years with an incompetent owner, has a new owner who hired a very, very solid GM, who in turn, hired a very solid HC and some of yoy think we can best their GM in a trade. H...mmm

Looking at our rosters which seem to suggest that Gordon will be our great hope at WR, is just plain fantasy again, we will be extremely lucky to see him finish the season and he will be a cancer to our young players in the locker room. No winning franchise would want this cancer anywhere near their young players. All you hear about winning franchises is how their veteran leadership inspires their younger players to get on board, our veteran leadership will be Gordon, good luck with that!!! Don't be too shocked if he spoils the barrel and takes down a couple of our younger players with him!!!

At least with Darnold and Barkley, we will have a solid shot to be competitive, thanks to our new GM, but anybody expecting more than 3 or 4 wins next season, get your heads out of the clouds, because it just isn't going to happen that quickly. 2019 is a possibility!!!

I see the 1st picks going like this.

1. Browns - Sam Darnold QB

2. Giants - Quentin Nelson G

3. Colts - Saquon Barkely RB

that gives the Bills Rosen and us a prime spot to move down.

The only guys he mocked us that I think would be gone are:

Marcus Davenport @12

And maybe Derrius Guice @35

Everyone elses stock in this draft is pretty much right where I'd expect them to go. I like every player we got except Taven Bryan. We don't need another small UT. We need a big dude that can generate solid pressure.

I'd rather go Vita Vea @12 and then Landry/Key/Carter/Armstrong with the 2nd round pick.

Not bad though.
