No Time to Die - October 8th

I don’t have a problem with this but I do wonder why she becomes 007 instead of being another 00. Maybe that’ll get answered in the film.

I think a lot people are misinterpreting this as her replacing Daniel Craig as the character when she’s just 007 while he’s away.

However I hope she doesn’t become the lead in future movies. I’m not sure people would be interested in a movie like that without Bond.

Someday i need to rewatch all of the Bonds, and actually try to pay attention.  I feel like when i catch one, i'm lost in the political mumbo jumbo and don't understand half of what is happening.

Or maybe i need to just stick to Fast and Furious type movies ha.

The trailer looks gorgeous but tbh the story just doesn’t captivate me.  It looks like the same Bond retread just like the last few.  And what’s with the Phantom mask?   I’m willing to give Fukunaga the benefit of the doubt tho considering his work on True Detective

It does look so much better than a few of the more recent ones.

Im confused by this? If you just want to look at the "more recent ones" I would assume you are talking about the 2 films from the past decade. The first of which is Skyfall, arguably the greatest Bond film ever made. And the other, Specter, which I agree was disappointing, but still has some impressive set pieces.

And if you want to included all of the Craig run, then sure you have Quantum of Solace which was an absolute disaster. But then you also get Casino Royale, another one of the better Bond representations ever.

Yes this Trailer looks very appealing, but so were the first looks for Spectre, and unfortunately that story didnt hold up at all. But maybe this one will tie it in enough to redeem it?

Has a Bond looked this old since Roger Moore?

I think Craig at 50 is the oldest that any Bond has been since Moore (who was nearly 60 in A View to Kill I think), but more importantly, I think Bond is supposed to look old here, hence he cant believe Lashana Lynch is a new 00 Agent. Hes supposed to look Old, out of touch and possibly unfit to be a 00
