Chili
Sorry for being a ****. I just lost count of the number of people who believed he was a FA over the past 3-4 days. As for your list. It's pretty accurate breakdown of what's available. I have to say Gaines probably won't be considered because he falls under the size thresholds for cornerbacks and also he's a zone corner when we're looking for man corners for Pettine scheme. If I may add a few more candidates: Bashaud Breeland (if he can sort his foot out) Darrelle Revis (Plug and play in Pettine scheme) Marcus Williams (was used as a nickle corner/safety with the Jets- did well before going to Houston) Marcus Cooper (He had that one good year in Arizona 3-4 defence before moving to the Bears. He also has the required size and athleticism) Davon House (Yuck but we have to consider him when all else fails) Also to consider: Ronald Darby & Eli Apple as trade candidates. Hadn’t researched the two Marcus’s. Both are worth taking a flier on from a little digging. I really like and want Revis for exactly the reason you mentioned. Ross Cockrell is probably now the one I want the most. Also I like the idea of Piere Desir (sp) from the Colts, played well when he got his chance ast season, has worked with Pettine before in Cleveland and has great size. Give me Cockrell, Revis and Desir and I’ll be happy.

MacReady
I've got this icky gross feeling we're getting the gang back together and it's gonna be Williams, Gunter, King, House, Rollins and Waters and that we're going to draft an effing offensive tackle or some crap in round one. I honestly don't think pride would allow that to happen. Not unless things well and truly collapse and we miss out on everybody.
