The move to make now for buffalo is to trade to 4.  Then on draft night if Cleveland doesnt take Buffalos first choice at qb they can dangle some extra picks and Barkley in front of NYG to get up to 2.

This would be a really smart move IMO. Doubt it happens though. Too many moving pieces.

And first round picks are already worth an extraordinary amount and we already have two this year to give.

Both firsts, a second, a third and a future second is reasonable.

To move up 10 spots into the top 2? Not a chance.

All Josh Allen jokes aside, I hardly would call it a success. To move up in the draft to go for a QB and not having to give up a future first is a victory in itself. If the Bills want that second or fourth pick, it's going to cost them both firsts and two seconds at least probably. Only teams in the top four that don't need QB's win in this scenario really.

I'd pass on that price... Patience is key here. Just like during Free Agency. We didn't freak out with all the QBs be signed... Arizona did and cost them Sam Bradford at 20 million. We remained patient and ended up with with McCarron at 5 million. I could see something similar with all these teams trading up for a QB and over paying and we just stay at 12 and take Lamar Jackson.

Since when have draft trades at the top of the board been reasonable especially when QBs are involved

jets moved from 6 to 3 a whopping 3 spots for 3 2nds

to leapfrog that when the giants know they have leverage prob gonna demand a kings ransom and not do the deal till draft day

We have 5 picks in the top-65. It's not an unreasonably expectation at all. A future second, maybe, but we definitely have the ammunition to not need a future first.

Yea, but you guys are trading from #12.  The Jets just gave up all that to move from #6 overall to #3 overall.  You think you're going to move from #12 overall to #2 overall without giving up a future first rounder?

To move up 3 spots?! What?!

Good for the Colts! icon_lol.gif

Especially since they're not "giving up" as much value in the drop back due to not needing a QB at this point.  It's almost like 3 "free" second rounders in a way.
