Not at all, I don’t mind Allen - but the bust potential is big and it’s a bad landing spot for where he is. Not cracking on the Jets, but it would be weird and funny to see them put their eggs in that basket.

Why?  The coaching staff has shown to be patient with their other two QB selections and they have a widely respected OC in Bates to coach him.  Seems like a pretty good spot to go actually.

They’ve been patient with the other two selections because they haven’t shown enough to get themselves on the field.

Allen is the least ready out of the big names to start, the front office and coaching staff are desperately trying save their jobs, they’ve already busted on a high draft pick at the position, there is nobody to throw to, there is nobody to block for him, the roster around him will get worse before it gets better because of what it is costing to move up. It’s a train wreck of a fit, but if you’re onboard then that’s cool.

I'm not on board with him but you have no idea what you're talking about.  Anderson, Kearse and Enunwa are all solid WR's plus they are looking at Hurns tomorrow who could solidify the position.  The OL was pretty average last year and improved by upgrading the C position and our 1st year starting RT going into year 2.  The Jets have one of the best cap situations in the NFL and will have a ton of cap space in a loaded 2019 class.  The jets are getting better not getting worse so again you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to the roster.

Sure I agree that Mac and Bowles need to show progress to keep their jobs but if they think Allen is the guy then they can take him.  Carson Wentz was supposed to sit as well and learn but played well enough to start.  You have no idea how long it will take these QB to progress.

Speaking of nobody to block you should be worried about you're own OL.
