This is probably what our final 53 will look like unless we sign a veteran FA. Although I've read that our staff is adamant about moving Roberts and probably will during TC.

Yeah Mack, Irvin, Hurst, Jelly, Key, and Hall are all locks to make the team but for the other spots on the DL it's going to be a battle between MEJ, Vanderdoes, Hester, Rucker, Rubin, and Brown.

I think they are both locks to make the team and I would not count Irvin as a DL player. We carried 8 D-linemen last year so that would leave one more spot.

He's playing DE so why wouldn't you count him as a DL?

I think Vanderdoes goes on PUP and MEJ isn't safe. He's been playing 3T in OTAs and there's a lot of competition at the spot. I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't make the roster. Anyway, the DL competition is the most interesting going into TC.

I think Edwards likely to make it due to talent, but no lock. Gruden is going make everyone earn it, doesn't care where you were draft

On the latest STOTN podcast Vic made it seem like the staff isn't too fond and there's a possibility that he doesn't make the team. He needs to have a strong training camp and start living up to the draft hype. How many DL do you guys see making the team this year?

That DT spot is pretty crowded so Mario has to step it up. He played trully well only as a rookie, which is in the past now...he needs to show that he is dedicated and he needs to show that he is better then the rookies. Hall and Hurst will make the team almost for sure. Jelly is a lock with the extension IMO...he is the only true NT under 30 too...

Vanderdoes, Hester also showed some potential as rookies, so Mario needa to hold them off too...

Last year he was better vs the run, but if he can't show pass rush potentian even Rubin can take him over as a run defender.

Carradine, Forster looks like a strong duo behind Mack and Irvin at DE too...then you still have the cheap Brown in the mix...

Edwards really has to show up
