Trojan
Quarterback 1. Derek Carr 2. Connor Cook Runningback 1. Doug Martin, I think he gets the majority of carries in the course of the game. 2. DeAndre Washington, I think he is the 3rd down back. 3. Marshawn Lynch, I think he is like a baseball closer. Coming in to close the game and drain the clock, this role would limit his carries keeping him fresh. 4. Jalen Richardson, I think he rotates in occasionally, but plays Special Teams. Fullback 1. Jalen Samuels, I realize we haven't drafted him yet. He just seems like a Gruden guy. 2. Keith Smith, I think we traded for him? Wide Receiver 1. Jordy Nelson, I list him first as I think he plays outside for us. 2. Martavis Bryant, I list him only over Cooper as I think he plays outside in three WR sets. 3. Amari Cooper, I think he plays in the slot, but is our top WR. 4. Dwayne Harris, I think he is our main KR. 5. Marcel Ateman, could develop to replace Jordy or Bryant in a year of two. Tight End 1. Jared Cook, he is the pass option 2. Lee Smith, he is the blocking option 3. Derek Carrier, I think he could be our TE3 with Pharoah Brown returning to the practice squad Left Tackle 1. Donald Penn 2. Brandon Parker Left Guard 1. Kelechi Osemele 2. Denver Kirkland Center 1. Rodney Hudson 2. Jon Feliciano Right Guard 1. Gabe Jackson 2. Vadal Alexander Right Tackle 1. Kolton Miller 2. Breno Giacomini Swing Tackle 1. David Sharpe Defensive End 1. Arden Key 2. Mario Edwards Jr. Nose Tackle 1. Justin Ellis2. Eddie Vanderdoes Under Tackle 1. PJ Hall 2. Maurice Hurst Defensive End 1. Khalil Mack 2. Tank Carradine 3. James Cowser Outside Linebacker 1. Bruce Irvin 2. Emmanuel Lamar Inside Linebacker 1. Azeem Victor 2. Cory James 3. Marquel Lee Outside Linebacker 1. Tahir Whitehead 2. Nicholas Morrow Cornerback 1. Gareon Conley 2. Rashaan Melvin 3. Nick Nelson 4. Shareece Wright 5. Leon Hall Free Safety 1. Obi Melifonwu 2. Marcus Gilchrist Strong Safety 1. Karl Joseph 2. Shalom Luani Kicker 1. Giorgio Tavvechio Punter 1. Johnny Townsend Long Snapper 1. Andrew DePaolo That's 55 players, so I guess two would get cut.

Frankie2Gunz
You forgot about Switzer who we traded for and Worley who we signed and is certainly better than Hall, that is unless you dont think they make the team.

A few new defensive starters, adding depth, alot of turnover and ten plus draft picks. I thought this be a good spot for posters to list the depth chart and see holes QB: Carr, Manuel, Cook/Johnson RB: Lynch, Martin, Richard, Washington/Hood FB: K Smith WR: Cooper, Bryant, Switzer, Hatcher/Whitney WR: Nelson, Roberts, Ateman, Holton/Whalen TE: Cook, L Smith, Carrier/Baugh OT: Penn, Miller, Parker, Giacomini, Sharpe, Ware OG: KO, Jackson, Alexander, Kirkland C: Hudson, Feliciano, Silberman/Stone DE/Edge: Mack, Edwards, Tank, Key, Bryant/Calhoun, Brown DT: Ellis, Hall, Vanderdoes , Hurst, Hester OLB: Irvin, Whitehead, Morrow, Wilber, Lamur, Cowser MLB: James, Victor/Lee CB: Melvin, Worley , Hall, Mcdonald/Hillary CB: Conely, Nelson, Wright, Golsen, Hamilton/Richardson S: Joseph, Obi, Gilchrist, Nelson/Luani K/P/LS: Pineiro/Tavecchio, Townsend , DePaola *players in bold are new incoming players how do you see the depth chart? I really don’t think that Penn is going to play this year. He’s been sidelined with a foot injury that required surgery, He’s probably going to miss the entire off-season . If he’s healthy ( Big if 300 pound man with foot problems is never a good thing )by training camp will be out of shape and behind learning the new offense . This is the reason why I was saying we have to draft and OT in the first round.

Holton, Armonty Bryant? Based on the current roster, these would be my favorites. I also considered their ability and athleticism to play special teams. Calhoun's spot taken by Key. Whalen's taken by Switzer. Alexander by Miller/Parker/Giacomini. Cowser by Carradine. Seems simple to me.

oakdb36
I don't see us keeping more than 4 OTs on the final roster. At the moment, we have Penn, Giacomini, Miller, Parker, Sharpe, Ware, Kirkland and Alexander. Imo, if Kirkland and/or Alexander make the team, it'll be at G. I don't think Sharpe fits at OT with Cable either. Ware has the size and athleticism and i'd give him a better shot to stick as depth. I don't see both Penn and Giacomini making the roster. If they decide to cut Penn, i guess they'll keep Giacomini for his experience. My guess is Penn and Miller starting with Parker and Ware as depth. I actually think he'd make decent depth there. I agree on Kirkland and Alexander. It's clear the staff values athleticism and height at tackle when you look at the players they've brought in (Miller, Parker, and Giacomini are all over 6'7"). I suspect Ware will will stick as well because of those reasons.
