That's a nice idea...I saw the Timberwolves play the Heat here in KC 2 years ago and saw the Wild play the Blues this last preseason.  I'd take a trip to Kinnick to watch the Vikings play...but I'm sure that wouldn't fly with powers that be because of the risk of injury on fields that aren't prepared to host NFL-level football...and the Hawkeyes probably wouldn't want the Vikings tearing up their field before the start of their season.    

Can't imagine it's that much worse than games in London or Mexico City.

I've seen one unverified report on Twitter that says we open on SNF vs. New Orleans, not TNF at Philadelphia (Philadelphia would open against Atlanta in this scenario).

The thought process is that we would have extra days after Thursday Philly game to fly to LA & get acclimated for that West coast road game while also potentially catching Rams while they still have not fully jelled yet.

This is me guessing, but I think Philly will be in Week 13 or 15. They saved it for a reason. It's going to be a primetime game, I'd guess, late in the season.
