1st off i would like to say the Lions and Panthers had some monster drafts in this one.    I would hate seeing Lamaar Jackson in NO as i think Jackson is gonna be a great QB for a long time.

The Falcons draft i really don't understand that much as we don't address our biggest need where we need atleast 2 of them in the 1st 3 rounds at all in DT or NT.    Plus i don't consider Green even a 2nd round prospect much less a 1st round prospect so thats a big no from me on him.  I might be ok in the late round 2 but theirs atleast 8 or more DT's i would take before him in this draft for sure.   Green is like 6'4 275 he would be a heavy DE more than a DT although at that size he could do some spot DT on pass rush situations.

Still though with your draft and how FA has gone so far  Grady Jarrett is the only DT on the entire roster still as it sits and we need 4 of them so we need 3 more somehow.

As for the WR and RB those are also guys i think that went a round or 2 to early as well and RB isn't even that big a position of need for the Falcons maybe in the 6th round if a solid one falls with upside but thats about it.     I appreciate the effort but this draft as it sits would be a epic fail for the Falcons and we better do much better than this come the real draft or we are going to be in some serious trouble this year.

Here is who would have been better for us value wise and need wise

1st - Maurice Hurst - DT/DE - If we have to take a smaller guy like this then it should be a legit 1st round talent in Hurst.
2nd - Mike Gesicki - TE - Bigger need than WR as we need a legit #1/2 TE to go along with Hooper after cutting Toilolo for 2 TE sets.
3rd - B.J. Hill - DT/NT  -  We have to replace Poe at NT and Hill is a very good DT in this draft i think he is better than alot of guys who might for before him.  Sorta like Grady Jarrett was in his draft.

4th to 7th round can be WR, LB, FB(Flowers is nice), RB another DT or OL  Those are all depth positions now and are good for later picks.

For New Orleans, I have no issues with drafting Jackson. I like him a lot. But I don't see any chance in hell of the Saints trading up to 13, giving up a 3rd and next year 1st for a project QB that likely isn't going to be an impact player year 1 (even if they do decide to try him at WR). Saints are in win now, with Brees only on the schedule for two more years. Saints will very likely stay at 27 and go BPA at DE, LB, or WR in the 1st. In your scenario Leighton Vander Esch, Rashaan Evans, Calvin Ridley, or Sam Hubbard would be much more worth staying put for, and could all contribute much more to a playoff team looking to elevate themselves then Lamar Jackson could. Just a really poor all around decision for New Orleans in this mock.

In this scenario, I would like to see the Vikings take Hernandez (like you had them doing), and then following that up with Ragnow in the second round.  Our need for O-line is great enough where they could very well take two of them early, and Ragnow has Minnesota roots, so they may have an inside track on him.
