Damn - was hoping to get to the Vikings next pick - draft is looking pretty bare for my guys right now! Probably the draft I like the least out of the North Teams

Chicago Bears
1.8 - Tremaine Edmunds - OLB - Virginia Tech
2.39 - DJ Moore - WR - Maryland - starter opposite Allen Robinson
4.105 - Jamarco Jones - T - Ohio State - potential day one starting tackle (current tackles are Charles Leno and Bobby Massie)
4.115 - Deon Cain - WR - Clemson - picked because of the Meredith offer sheet (likely could have used this on a different position
5.145 - Geron Christian - T - Louisville - even after drafting Jones, Bears have no depth at tackle - Christian has upside to start on either side
Remaining Picks: 181, 224

Green Bay Packers
1.14 - Marcus Davenport - OLB - UTSA - can learn and develop behind Clay for a year and lets Matthews slide inside if need be
2.45 - Carlton Davis - CB - Auburn - starting corner
3.76 - Austin Corbett - G - Nevada - starting guard
4.101 - Uchenna Unwosu - LB - USC - 34 inside back that could move to an edge if need be
4.133 - TreQuan Smith - WR - UCF - third receiver to compliment Cobb and Adams
5.138 - Isaac Yiadom - CB - Boston College - developmental press corner
Remaining Picks: 172, 174, 186, 207, 232, 239

Minnesota Vikings
1.30 - Billy Price - G - Ohio State - Immediate Starter at RG
2.62 - Ronnie Harrison - S - Alabama - Potential Immediate Starter/Eventually Sendejo replacement when he becomes a cap casualty; didn't expect him to be here as i have a late first/early second slot for him. Value/Luxury pick that could make a dynamite duo with Harrison Smith
3.94 - Kemoko Turay - DE - Rutgers - Player in grooming behind Brian Robison (one year left) and Everson Griffen (getting up in age) - team often uses 3 DE's in passing situations
Remaining Picks: 167, 204, 213, 218, 225

Detroit Lions
2.33 - James Daniels - C/G - Iowa (from CLE) - immediate starter inside from day one
2.51 - Harrison Phillips - DT - Stanford - immediate starter next to Robinson (supplants Ledbetter)
2.64 - Kerryon Johnson - RB - Auburn (via CLE) - High ceiling RB that could give them some stability here finally
3.82 - Jerome Baker - LB - Ohio State -  potential starting base WLB and nickel backer
4.117 - Jalyn Holmes - DE - Ohio State - could challenge for a starting spot, Lions have Ansah and nothing else
5.153 - Davontae Harris - CB - Illinois State - CB/S potential, adds depth with potential to start opposite Slay
Remaining Picks: 237

Texans

3rd round | 68th overall   ORLANDO BROWN OT Oklahoma
3rd round | 80th overall (from SEA) JESSIE BATES  S  Wake Forest
3rd round | 98th overall CB HOLTON HILL Texas
4th round | 103rd overall TE DURHAM SMYTHE Notre Dame

Really had planned to give them more O-line help, maybe the 80 pick should have went that way? Safety kind of a luxury pick with Tyrann Mathieu signing though maybe it gives him a shot at being able to free lance more, plus The Secondary was pretty bad last yr so Bates along with Holton Hill hopefully give a boost to that area of concern. TE an obvious need  with only Stephen Anderson coming back. Trading up for their QB last yr and not picking before rd 3, the Texans took some swings for Home runs with Orlando Brown (bad combine) and Holton Hill (character concerns) who we feel are solid rd 2 players.

Colts

1st Round: 6th Overall Pick (from Jets)  LB Roquan Smith Georgia
2nd Round: 36th Overall Pick   BRIAN O’NEILL OT Pittsburgh
2nd Round: 37th Overall Pick (from Jets) OGBONNIA OKORONKWO EDGE Oklahoma
2nd Round: 49th Overall Pick (from Jets) ANTONIO CALLAWAY Florida
3rd Round: 67th Overall Pick  NICK CHUBB RB Georgia
4th Round: 100th Overall Pick CB DUKE DAWSON Florida
5th Round: 140th Overall Pick COLE MADISON   OG  Washington State
6th Round: 164th Overall Pick  LB GENARD AVERY Memphis

Trade back from 3 to 6 was done because we felt comfortable with 3 players whom we felt certain one would be there. All 3 were gone, a leader was needed at LB and Roquan Smith will fill that role. 6th rd pick Avery will add speed to special teams and should work his way to a starting role at the Sam. OKORONKWO  will add an element of a pass rush that the team desperately lacks transitioning back to a 4-3. The O-line was in serious need of talent to protect hopefully Andrew Luck, O'neil and Madison along with shifting to getting quicker passes off should help protect whoever is at QB. Chubb has the potential to be a workhorse back, again a strong run game will protect our QB. Callaway was a surprise  this early, this pick is what I feel they will do. The Secondary needed more help than one pick, so many holes to fill, it will take more than one draft to fix.

Titans

1st round | 25th overall  Josh Sweat EDGE FSU
2nd round | 57th overall FRED WARNER LB BYU
3rd round | 89th overall SCOTT QUESSENBERRY UCLA
4th round | 125th overall DL  ANDREW BROWN Virginia
5th round | 162nd overallEdge   JOHN FRANKLIN-MYER Stephen F. Austin

Orakpo is getting a little long in the tooth, Sweat can be groomed to be his replacement, 5th rd pick Franklin Myer will add depth to the position, the team still has high hopes for Kevin Dodd and Derrick Morgan still figures to have plenty of football left. Warner is an athletic LB that can cover but will have the junk yard dog mentality that the team lacked in the middle last yr. Quessenberry  will provide depth at the interior of the O Line.

Jags

1st round | 29th overall   DALLAS GOEDERT TE South Dakota State
2nd round | 61st overall BRADEN SMITH OG Auburn
3rd round | 93rd overall  NATHAN SHEPHERD    DT  Fort Hays State
4th round | 129th overall RASHAAN GAULDEN S Tennessee

The Jags lost some pass catching Depth in free agency, Goeddert along with the addition Austin Seferian-Jenkins will help offset those losses. The team is focused on being run heavy, the addition of Braden Smith will help bolster the run game, we would have liked to add a Tackle for the O-line, but in rd 3 Nathan Shepherd was too good to pass on, the Jags have a lot of monet on the D line interior, Shepherd might be needed to play a role in a couple of years if the team is forced to move away from some contracts. Gaulden a Safety but the team feels he can fill the role of the slot corner as well and will boost an already lethat Secondary.

That Colts draft is pretty nice.
