Could the Hootie Jones' injury have played a part in how he was being used?  As you saw in the vids above, he was playing Minkah's role.  Remember many here felt Landon Collins wasn't too good of a Safety and man how I wish he was a Steeler right now.

Not sure. Its definitely a good idea to consider previous years play and also what other contributing factors come into play.

Example is players like Durham Smythe & Eq St Brown.. you definitely gotta consider the poor qb play they had to deal with. Even Alabamas own Robert Foster, talented player in an offense that just doesnt throw the ball around.

Agreed.  People fail to realize how deep and talented Alabama's WR core was this season with Calvin Ridley, Cam Sims, Robert Foster, Jerry Judy, Trevon Diggs, Henry Ruggs II, and most of them are highly recruited.

BPA is Justin Reid and for the Steelers Jerome Baker makes sense too.

I can’t see Baker being picked that high.  I could see him as a surprise 2nd rd pick given the Steelers love for OSU players and his similarities to Shazier.

I would run to the podium and take Harold Landry.  No question.

6-foot-3, 252, 40-yard dash in 4.64, short shuttle (4.19 seconds), 3 cone (6.88 seconds).

Landry would be an upgrade over Dupree but still would be a situational player.  His run defense badly needs help.

Very similar to 2 recent ACC guys in Ngokuei and Harold. Can rush the passer really well, but they rotate in and out on run downs.

Didn't think this needed a new thread but thought this would spark some more good conversation on this topic.....

IF the Steelers think Bostic and Burnett are good enough to start and decide to go BPA according to their board and draft OFFENSE at 28, which position/player would you pain you the least??

QB? Mason Rudolph and Lamar Jackson seem the 2 most likely

RB? Derrius Guice, maybe Sony Michel

WR? Anthony Miller?

TE? Dallas Goedert
