MacReady
You can do a lot worse at backup QB than Ossweiler.
chris00cm
They have been rivaling the Browns in the most questionable decisions (ironically trading Landry was the only beneficial move). Lets see how it pays off.

I highly doubt both Osweiler and Fales stick on the final 53.
Xmad
The Dolphins have probably had the worst off season of any team, Gase better work that magic and hope Tannehill's knee doesn't explode again.
Lilseb93
He'll be a camp body who competes with Fales and the QB we draft for the back up role. That's all that needs to be said really unless we gave him too much money.
RuskieTitan
Even as an extreme bust he's going to cruise to a comfortable career as a backup and earn millions more. Well played, genetic lottery. Well played.

The funny thing is the Dolphins had a terrible offense with Landry and a terrible defense with Suh. Just by getting injured players back and some of the moves they've made, they'll most likely be better than last season. Especially with getting their QB back, an easier schedule, and actually having a bye week.

So getting rid of their two best players is...going to make their terrible offense and terrible defense better? They weren't crippled by injuries. Is there really a glaring difference between Tannehill and Cutler other than Tanny having slightly more potential? The Dolphins look like a bottom 5 team to me right now. And they aren't set up for long-term success like some of the other bad teams are.

Tannehill had nearly a 3:1 TD:INT ratio, 69% completion, and a 100+ QB rating over his last 8 games. This was in his first year with Gase after an admittedly slow start to the first 5 games of the season. How would you say Cutler compares to those numbers^? He's not in the same realm. Tannehill's injury and subsequent setback completely erased the clear progress and improvement he was showing with Gase in the eyes of the average NFL fan, hell even some Miami fans. I think they're in the same tier of QB. Neither is good enough to carry their team to wins without a great supporting cast. And Miami's supporting cast is pretty terrible. Tannehill is now the Dolphin's best offensive player. That's not good.

Seems he was doing a pretty decent job of not only getting wins but putting up top 10 numbers.
