Apparently we are signing Pernell McPhee

He’s a good 3-4 OLB. He just can’t start/play too many snaps bc of knee injuries he suffered in his first two years in chicago. If you do t know who he is, you need to watch more football than just the Redskins games. He had more production than Galette last year in less games and he’s a solid run defender.

I just want you guys to think about this for a second lol. A real life football player came to visit. Went and visited another team and actually chose us lol. And the falcons are a pretty solid team!! I just thought it was funny I like the player hopefully we all like the figures

Choosing us over the Falcons shows he has a low football IQ, not a good signing

Might want to watch some plays of his over the years, he can definitely play. He was more impactful than Galette last year.

He was ok in Bmore. Murphy is a better player who will thrive in Buffalo 4/3 with Their other D linemen

we dont have anyone who puts fear into other offenses as a pass rusher and We don’t have a NT. Maybe we will draft one of these at 13.

Murphy is coming off two torn knee ligaments and got paid more than any of us thought he would. If we had signed Murphy to a 3 year, $22.5 million deal which pays him 4.975 million next year, Redskins nation would be exploding in its dismay all over the internet, in print and on the radio.

Now, it’s true we don’t have an “it” pass rusher but we now have 25 sacks on our team from the OLB position. All in all the players we currently have on our defensive roster now combined for 43 sacks on the year last year, and Allen and Foster missed 3/4 of the year so they only combined for 1.5 sacks. Presumably they would have each gotten a few more if they played all year.

We were tied for 7th in the NFL in sacks last year with 3 other teams and that was w/o Allen 3/4 of the year. Pass rushing is not the problem with our defense, run defense is because of our NT issue along with Allen and Foster’s injuries.

Can we admit the Ryan Anderson mistake yet

Should be an Inside backer. Scot said something about this when he was drafted but can’t find link. Not fast twitch enough to be above average OLB, but smart, tough, nose for football and hard worker perfect for ILB. Why he’s still playing Olb is a mystery just like why Ty wasn’t playing LG for 2 years or Niles was playing TE/FB which was laughable as he blocks like a QB

Need to start this conversion ASAP. Team needs ILB depth. Don't understand why they drafted a nonathletic edge rusher.
