VigilantZombie
Does anyone here believe that the historical success of specific positions from specific schools holds any weight in considering the risk of drafting specific prospects?

Armsteeld2
Steelers are knownbfor great LB play. Every LB that has played here hasn’t been great. Every player is different but what @jebrick said makes a lot of sense. I used to say that Auburn was a bad place to draft CBs but I didn’t know better and was being biased and not watching with my ?. This forum has taught me to humble myself; not just here but I’m life.

You have to watch games to see their accuracy and decision making. Now some coach's systems produce bad QBs. Most if not all CBs have nearly zero skills they will need in the NFL. College coaches teach them just enough for their system. That is one big reason that most DBs are real crap shoots for draft picks. I think OL and DL are better for prediction but still it follows a position coach.
