RamsFan24
Key Resign- Conner Barwin ***Trade Alerts*** 1. ) LA Rams trade Round 1 #23 Cleveland Browns trade Round 2 #1 and Round 3 #1 The Rams have been very aggressive all offseason while making smart moves. They decide to move back in the draft and grab an extra 3rd rounder in the process. This is a smart move for the Browns because the still have 2 top 5 1st round picks along with another 2 2nd rounder also. The Rams have very aggressive all off season, so we recoup another top pick and still grab one an impact player with the 1st pick in round 2. 2.) LA Rams trade Round 6 #2 and Round 6 #21 Cincinnati Bengals trade Round 5 # 21 The Rams decide to stay very aggressive and jump up in the draft to grab a player that they feel they can groom and be a nice addition for us in the future. The Bengels recoup another pick to help build the depth of their up incoming team. 2018 NFL Draft- 2. Rashaan Evans-ILB, Alabama With the Rams trading back, Ladry and Hubbard are off the board already. So Wade gets his new defensive general on defense. Evans is a absolute stud in the middle, he has all the intangibles to be an dominant piece in the middle of our 3-4 defense. He is a Alpha Dog, a hard hitting excellent tackler with great explosion, good awareness and is a natural born leader. With Rashaan's rushing abilities, a great coach like Wade can move him around to be a Edge rusher in certain packages if needed to give our defense a different look also. Evans is surely a 1st round talent, but with the run on quarterbacks, defensive backs, defensive tackles and offensive lineman, Evans drops right to us with the 1st pick of day 2. 3. Martinas Rankin-OT, Mississippi Martinas is an technician with excellent quick feet. He needs to come in and learn from Whitworth, and continue to build his weight and strength up. With the coaches that we have on offensive line, they should be able to help him improve and grow into our future left tackle. The Rams get a dag good player her at the top of round three, they are building well through the trenches. Because of Rankin's versatility, he will be our swing tackle along with rotational guard if needed. 3. Frank Ragnow-OC/OG, Arkansas This is another player that the Rams run up and grab in this years draft. If it wasn't for an injury, Ragnow could of been one of the top lineman in this entire draft. Frank will come in and learn from Sullivan, and will take over when ready. This will give us some talented depth on the offensive line. The Rams are beefing up the offensive line just the way they have beefed up there scary defensive line, with strong talent and very good depth. 4. Jeff Holland-OLB, Auburn Jeff absolutely played great in his only year of starting for the Tigers this year. Holland took advantage of his opportunity in a very tuff and physical SEC. Jeff is a strong and tuff playmaking thumper who just had his way against some very good lineman. Jeff is another very good addition to an already very scary defense. 4. Hercules Mata'afa-OLB, Washington State Yes the Rams aren't done building a monster on defense, with another speed and rush specialist to our defense. This edge rusher is fast and explosive with a dangerous first step and a relentless motor. He will come in as a pass rushing specialist and then take over as a starter when ready. He has some dangerous moves and power off of the edge that make him a problem for the opponents. Hercules is going to be one of gems of this draft, he has starter abilities and is a strong tackler. 5. Antonio Callaway-WR, Florida The Rams jump up into the 5th round to grab their wide receiver of the future. Antonio has all the intangibles to be a really good receiver in the NFL. He has blazing speed, vision, route running abilities, hands and heart. Antonio had round 1 talent, but after missing the entire 2017 season because of off the field incidents has him dropping late. The Rams take a chance on a very explosive and talented player. Callaway will give McVay the deep specialist that he lost when Sammy left. 6. Genard Avery-ILB, Memphis Thanks to The LBC I believe for telling us about him, I really like want I see out of Avery. Yes he does remind me of Danny Trevathan as a prospect. He is a heat-seaking missile that has great instincts on the field. He is another gem and possible late round steal for the Rams. 6. Natrell Jamerson-S, Wisconsin Natrell will come in and fill the gapping hole that Cody Davis left in our safety rotation and special teams spot. Jamerson is extremely fast and versatile option for us, he will add some great talent and depth to our back end of the defense. He has good vision and instincts, strong tackler and play making ability. He didn't move and start at safety into his senior year, as the season progressed he got better and better, even showing out at the East-West Shrine game, and at the Nfl Combine. 6. Lowell Lotulelei-NT, Utah The Rams decide to take a flyer on a prospect that was very disruptive last year, but only showed flashes of dominance this year. Hopefully with playing under some great coaches, we can get some consistence play out of Lowell. Lotulelei will come in and compete for some playing time in an very deadly defensive line. Projected Starters QB: Jared Goff HB: Todd Gurley XWR: Josh Reynolds / Antonio Callaway ZWR: Robert Woods SLWR: Cooper Kupp / Tavon Austin TE: Gerald Everett LT: Andrew Whitworth LG: Rodger Saffold C: John Sullivan / Frank Ragnow RG: Jamon Brown RT: Rob Havenstein / Martinas Rankin SDE: Michael Brockers NT: Ndamukong Suh DT: Aaron Donald WOLB: Samson Ebukam / Hercules Mata'afa WILB: Mark Barron / Genard Avery SILB: Rashaan Evans / Cory Littleton SOLB: Conner Barwin / Jeff Holland LCB: Marcus Peters RCB: Aqib Talib SLCB: Nickell Robey-Coleman FS: LaMarcus Joyner SS: John Johnson III K: Greg Zuerlein P: Johnny Hekker LS: Jake McQuaide
LARams91
His name is Genard Avery, just for your information. I like it. Some calculated risks (Callaway) along with some solid players (Ragnow, Rankins, Avery, Evans) make me feel this would be a solid scenario. BStanRamFan
I love it. Favorite mock I've seen so far. if we can add a RB somewhere after the 4th I'll be ecstatic. Evans is my favorite LB outside of Landry right now.

Thank You, I didn't finish tjis until right at 2 AM, I was tired.com. Normally I wouldn't miss that because I had his name right on my paper, the tired life, lol. I really like Callaway, that kid can be a star if he wants to. Hopefully he has learned from sitting out the entire year and lossing a lot of money by dropping down into later rounds now. RamPackFan
Nice mock. Well done! I was a bit disappointed not seeing a WR in the first few picks but coming away with Calloway right there is a huge steal and I would be very happy with this outcome. IF Calloway gets his **** together he has major upside/talent

Appreciate it, yeah I was conflicted with making one of my last picks be a running back. I didn't in this mock to really focus on depth in the areas that we really thin in. Don't forget that Tavon Austin is back, he kind of is our second running back already, plus some one like Callaway could grab a couple run plays a game also. I really like Callaway and I also do feel that he would be a steal in the 5th If he just matures and make better decisions. Some of the draft sites was giving a nfl comparison of Antonio Brown, which is crazy, but just to know that he has similar skill sets of someone like that coming out of college is huge and exciting.
