jleisher
Disclaimer: Before anyone has a heart attack, please remember my mocks are just that, mocks. I do them differently each time to look at other possibilities. I know some don't like using the simulator, but that's the only way I think it makes the mocks more realistic and fair. The simulator might pick the player you want to another team and your out of luck, otherwise, I could just plug in whoever I want at whatever spot, we all know that's not realistic. Remember, these are just for discussion. I will do my final mock a week before the draft, then you can rip me a new _sshole. So, with that said, which one of the two would you be happiest with? #1 Fanspeak Big Board, Simulator uses multiple boards, Difficult and User-voted team needs. 1.#14 (Trade down, Colts offered 2#4, 2#5, 4#4 and 5#3) 2. #4. vegas492
I like them both, but really like the second one.
Pilprin
I like both drafts as well...In both cases 15 and 13 player draft classes are larger than we are likely to see. Both are really solid from a quality perspective.
tttmikeb
I like the second one better, for a couple reasons: -I like the value of trading down, but when we already have 12 picks, trading down in the first and second round seems unwise. I'd rather see us use picks to either A)trade up and grab a higher-impact player and/or B)trade picks to grab an extra pick or two next year (when it seems unlikely that we'll be getting anything significant (if at all) in comp picks. -The second one gets us more guys named DaeSean/DeShon. Having already traded for DeShone Kizer, this seems like a potential theme for this offseason. I like it.
