Alex Smith record against NFC East opponents

Some have argued including Brice that you can’t use KC’ousins stats as comparing against Smith because he’s ( Smith) a winner

so let’s use that. What do you think Smith’s career win loss record is for our NFC opponents? To go to the playoffs you have to beat teams in your division- all should agree with this

Alex Smith Career Record vs NFC Redskins opponents

Dallas 1-2

Giants 2-3

Eagles 3-4

Total Vs NFC East Opponents=6-9

The only team he has a winning record is against the Redskins is that what Brice was referring to? It’s a long tradition of laziness and recency bias Redskins judge players on how they do against the Redskins- wrong and simple minded approach

My prediction for 2018 - 6-9. A career normalization in 18 for Smith

any one surprised by Smith’s record?

“Stats, records, rankings, weather, if the goal post is tilted just a little bit, the Sykes system uses forty two proven indexes, to eliminate the guess work in sports wagering, without my patented computer based picks, you've got a better shot of having God showing up at your door, with nine strippers a bag of pure Bolivan cocaine even viagra to make Chuck's head blow up, than picking these things on your own.”

Why do we bash? Previous record for either qb doesn't matter at this point. The only record that matters now is the one they have in 2018.

What record would the skins have to have to consider Alex Smith a good off-season acquisition? I'm going with 10.

Agreed on the only record that matters is in 2018.

As for your question:

I was told that without our injuries, we were a playoff team last year.

And I was told that Smith is a winner who wins playoff games and throws the deep ball better than anyone in 2017 and will only get better this year so this is the reason why we shouldn't have blown it up with Colt and gotten our QBOTF.

So it would need to be 12-4 with a trip to the NFCC. I'll break it down

  • 2 games for reversal of injuries.

Puts us at 9-7.

  • Then 3 games because he was such an improvement over our previous QB.

So we're at 12-4.

And just getting to the playoffs isn't good enough. We've done that before under Snyder and only have 2 wins. He would need to get us farther than that. So NFCC.

6-9 is probably better than Cousins NFC east record.

What was cousins record this year? 1-5

He lost to the freakin Giants. After they gave up on the season.

The real question should be...what was Smith divisional record in the AFC west, the last 5 years?

Just like Gruden said & that article that came out today...

Smith is a better QB, than Cousins.

And I believe it as well.
