Guess im off base tho Its actually less about actual geography and a bit more about culture, for example most people wouldn't necessarily count South America of Africa as being western or eastern culture, and russia is also a bit ambiguous, but it's basically anywhere you see lots of white people = western and anywhere you see lots of Asians = eastern. Heimdallr Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 Poland is now (within the last 20 years) most definitely a "Western" country, in all aspects. Democratic, free economy, high HDI, high GDP, one of the best education systems in the world, universal health care, full NATO and EU members, etc..
