I think OT is our biggest need, but not sure if McGlinchey is worth #10. Ideally I would like to trade down a little and get him. 

If no trade down I'd go, Ward, McGlinchey, Davenport, Vea.

I love Vea but I thought Oakland needed a 3T?  

 

I went with Roquan and Ward.

Ward - good fit as Melvin is only signed for 1 year and Ward can play in the nickel year 1 then move outside

Roquan - we usually don’t draft LBs but with Gruden in charge now we have no idea if that’ll change 

Vea - we just resigned our 1 tech Justin Ellis so unless you think Vea can play 3 tech it doesn’t make much sense

Vea can play 3-technique ,and Justin Ellis shouldn't stop the Raiders from taking Vea, otherwise.

With how often teams are doubling both interior defensive lineman with inside zone, you want to have two guys in there who can withstand a double team. On long downs or 3rd and medium, take out Ellis and put Vea at nose with a rotational 3T like Edwards or Venderdoes.

I honestly have no idea what to expect from Gruden.  Because of him, IMO, the Raiders are the most likely out of all teams in the top 10 to make a pick completely out of left field.

If I were the Raiders, I'd go Ward or Roquan.  I chose Ward here.

I love Vea as a nose and I agree that’s Ellis shouldn’t necessarily stop us from taking Vea but why do you think Vea can play 3 tech?  When has there ever been a 3 tech his size?

Ya I think Gruden has a lot more influence over personnel decisions than Raiders fans like to admit.
