Danger
So what can you all tell me about him? All I can see is he was pretty good his first few seasons and then it gets more gray area.
808
Yeah I see Worrilow as taking Ellerbee’s spot, not Kendricks’ spot

Reading through some tidbits about him indicate that WLB may be his best fit.

He is also a nice ST player.
Jroc04
Wanted him last year for. Interesting, just looking at his stats, how he fell off. He at least was tackling everything coming at him. Interested what he can bring.

TheRealMcCoy
Quote 44. Paul Worrilow, Detroit Lions Coverage: 13/25Run Defense: 15/25Pass Rush: 7/15Tackling: 17/25Position Value: 7/10Overall Grade: 59/100 Paul Worrilow was schematically a good linebacker, but not athletically. He often picked up on block schemes and triggers correctly but did not have the speed to finish. The same can be said of Worrilow in coverage, where he tends to get cooked by any skill player with baseline route-running ability. His assignment knowledge made him a decent depth player, but the Lions should look to keep their youngsters on the field instead. Ranked 44th out of 45 for 4-3 OLBs last year according to this and they had him ranked 43rd out of 46 in 2016. To compare Najee Goode ranked 42nd last year just ahead of him. ninjapirate
Seems like a weird time to do this before the draft.

Almost like they are hedging their bets hoping the rest of the league assumes they'd never take a LB now. Don't think he changes thier plans one bit if they like someone specific. Danger
My assumption is that they're going to look to move on from Kendricks, play primarily Hicks and Bradham at LB and let Worrilow and Nelson fill in depending what's needed when there's a 3rd LB on the field at all. EaglesPeteC
A nice little summary of Worrilow https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2018/4/5/17201600/paul-worrilow-eagles-linebacker-lions-falcons-philadelphia-atlanta-detroit-nfl-position-wilmington
