This could well be the choice Miami is looking at with the 11th pick. 4 QBs are very likely to be taken in the top 10. 

Who's your choice here?

I'm going with S Derwin James.

I need to know how good Davenport is vs the run. I've read that he plays the run really well. We need the DE who can set the edge and get after the passer. 

James is going to be a good pro. Does Jones get cut in the near future, though?

There's some skill overlap there for sure. I think they could operate well on the field together. James isn't a pure box safety or anything like that. The distinction between strong and free safeties are blurring more and more.

Vea is a good choice as well.

We have TJ McDonald under contract for awhile on a very team-friendly deal. TJ and Resahd both seemed like SS types to me, with James also being a SS type. Although, I think James can be a nickle LB, or star. I wouldn't play him too deep though. You'd want him around the ball as much as possible.

Derwin James and it’s not even close.  He would be the BPA in this scenario and he fits a need at covering TEs
