Just like none of us can know if any of the players we selected will get injuries during TC, or if they will be as good next season as they have been in the past. But again, it doesn't matter. It's about how his skills will translate to my team.

Correct, and you have 0 knowledge of how his skills will translate to the NFL

Dallas94Ware
To be fair, Trent was a fantasy steal his rookie year. His red zone work was a great flex spot fill in for me. I won my money league that year. Drafted him late and plugged him in when...I think MJD? Went down. And he did look the part. Most thought his hesitation and slowness finding the hole would be coached out of him. and his rookie year he looked like it was. But he never fully grasped how the indecisiveness was ruining his game. Me? Personally I had him as a 1-2 grade. A risk with high potential that was worth the gamble. But at pick 2 or 3? Craziness. Dunno what people saw in him to go that high. I think it was the hype of his physicality.

Just saying drafting a player based purely on potential when there are still elite players left to draft is an odd choice imo.
DaBoys
Plus Trent had a weight problem and was something less than a gym rat. Those are things that prevent you from developing or fixing your issues. Barkley, by all accounts, will never have this problem.
