So they cut Karl Klug who would have made $2.5 million.

Signed Logan for $4 million.

Klug - 8 career starts - 21.5 sacks.

Logan - 63 starts - 7 career sacks.

NFL logic....

Bennie Logan is a run stuffer. Completely different type of players.

You're comparing a nose tackle to a 3-4 defensive end...why, exactly?

Eh I’m still worried about our OLB depth and ILB. Morgan and Orakpo are a solid OLB duo but behind them is absolute garbage. We replaced Avery Williamson with Will Compton so not much of an downgrade there if at all. Wouldn’t count out drafting an ILB at 25 though.

You either have an absurdly high opinion of Compton or an absurdly low one of Williamson.

Williamson is actually a starting caliber ILB in the NFL, who while awful vs the pass is incredible vs the run.

Compton is awful at, well, pretty much everything. Mentally he's good, but doesn't have the physical ability to match.

If we're starting Compton beside Woodyard, we need to be seriously concerned. He's a major downgrade from Williamson.

I'm not even kidding when I say that this is almost in line with me saying:

So the Vikings cut Jarius Wright, who would have made $2 million.

Signed Kirk Cousins for $91 million.

Wright - 15 career starts - 153 catches.

Cousins - 57 starts - 0 catches.

Klug/Logan play entirely different positions and have entirely different roles on a defense.

Both are liabilities. Never said he should be the starter. ILB is still a need.
