Ideal 4 picks - 4 positions

As for the big school debate..

Its a huge safety net for teams. More often than not the riskier pick is the kid who come from a school not known for their top end competition. Those are the kids who's athleticism has them running around other players with ease because they are gifted fsr beyond their competition. From the big schools...you get a kid used to a faster paced game, a faster opponent, a stronger better and more gifted opponent. You also have better coaches teaching them, and better coaches teaching their opponents. Big school prospects are hence, usually safer...

But not, by any means, better. You can always get a great player from a smaller school or lower division. Just usually takes a bit more effort to get them up to speed or prepared for the NFL. Not always. But usually.

1/19) Leighton Vander Esch (LB) Boise State  - there has been a lot of talk that the Cowboy's do have quite an interest in Vander Esch , the Cowboy's do need a new MIKE linebacker now that they are talking about moving Jaylon Smith to the SAM position. Vander Esch does have a lot of athletic ability for a guy his size, some scouts say that his play compares to Edmunds style of play and their measurements are also pretty close.

2/50) DJ Chark (WR/PR) LSU everyone says that the Cowboy's need to inject some speed in the offense Chark DOES THAT WITH A 4.34 /40 he had a very inadequate QB in college and he still showed that he can stretch the field.

3/81) Josh Sweat (DE) Florida State speaking of speed Sweat ran a 4.53 /40 and shows a strong burst around the edge and is coming off a horrible knee injury in high school so it takes time to get back where he once was, there is a very high upside to his talent. There still is a few question marks on the Cowboy's defensive line.

4/116) Colby Gossett (OG) Appalachian State  we need to keep bringing in quality players and Gossett fits the bill to compete for the LG position , Gossett is very strong and good movement with his feet he played the strong RG position @ Appalachian State and the offensive line only gave up 8 sacks all season.

4/137) PJ Hall (DT) Sam Houston State   I'm really pulling for this guy I hope the Cowboy's are being quiet about not talking about him because I really think this player is going to be special just watch his game films and stats. For being 6-1" 308lbs. 4.71 speed 36reps maybe he could be another version of Aaron Donald. This guy has also blocked a lot of kicks for someone only 6-1".
