That's a typical Bleacher Report list, just awful. No Bradley Beal, John Wall is definitely top 10, arguably better then Arenas and it's obvious the idiot who made this lost doesn't care about longevity for this list.

Wall is the best player for the Wizards this decade in a decade where he and Beal after him have returned the team to a perennial playoff team that wins playoff series for the first time since the 70s.

He's responsible for 40 to 50 points of the team offense when he plays or nearly and sometimes more than 50% of the teams offense.

When did we draft Beal? It’s 2013.

It's an annual occurrence with this team.

He's not wrong though. Interesting how he's going after culture... and RTs Redick's comments about players not being concerned about the right things.

Hmm... ;)

Not sure what this article is supposed to imply.  Other than Beal the rest of the roster is in rebuild mode.  Wall isn’t playing right now.  So again, not sure exactly what this article or Beals comments are supposed to imply.

When I read, it's pretty clear he's saying players aren't focused on doing the right things to prepare for.... winning.

They aren’t winning games because they don’t have enough talent.

Huh? That's confusing. So they have enough talent?

Check this --- https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/bealbr01/on-off/2020

That's Beal's on/off stats. Let me break it down for you... and hopefully it shows how important defense is.

Wiz Offense with Beal on vs off - plus 5

Wiz Defense with Beal on vs off - minus 15

Wiz Net with Beal on vs off - minus 10

Get it? It wasn't much different for Wall. If you play NBA DFS, there's a nugget for you (as the Wiz's expense).

Ok first we are talking about wins, which is a team stat.

Second, on/off is a loaded stat because most of the time Beal is off the court the opposing starters are also off the court.

Soooooo when he's on the court, the other teams' starters are on the court too, yes???

You're really arguing about a -10 net on/off court rating? -15 coming from defense?

Wow.

Dude Beal is a good player, it’s pretty ridiculous to argue otherwise.  The rest of the team is not very good, which is why their record is so bad.  It’s pretty silly to look at a Rebuilding team, point out their one all star who plays the most minutes, and blame him for on/off stats when the starters are getting blown out on a nightly basis (because the wizards don’t have a talent starting 5).
