Two mock drafts for the price of one

I could be way off about this thanks to their admitted disinformation campaign, but as far as I can tell, the Giants are really only interested in one quarterback.  It's either Sam Darnold or bust.  And by bust I mean trade down with the Bills.  So I think either the Browns are going to draft Josh Allen (which I wouldn't do, but I'm not running the Browns) and the Giants immediately select Sam Darnold or the Browns draft Sam Darnold and the Giants trade down with the Bills for a king's ransom and take their chances with Eli Manning this year and either Davis Webb or use their now two first round draft picks to try to trade up for a quarterback next year.  Which, if the Rams have taught us anything about the draft, is a completely viable strategy.

I also took this opportunity to illustrate how wildly divergent I think the draft could go.  I am not going to do a write up for every single pick in the first round for two different mock drafts.  I'll just say though that the idea that Josh Allen could go number 1 does not reflect my opinion as to whom the top quarterback in this year's draft is.  At some point, you have to balance your player ratings with who you think teams will (possibly very very mistakenly) take.  If I do another mock (which I expect will only happen if there is a trade between now and the draft), I will almost certainly have the Raiders drafting a linebacker in the first round.  It's a very real possibility I haven't taken into account in either mock draft.

If there were two teams I felt I have the most difficult time drafting for in this mock, it would be Detroit and Jacksonville.  Detroit because I feel as though that is the organization I know the least about and Jacksonville because aside from an immediate replacement starting quarterback, I don't feel like they need very much from a talent perspective.

Please let me know if there is a duplicate selection of if there is someone I obviously missed in one of the mock drafts.  It's difficult to keep track when working on two at once.

With the first mock, don't love it for the Vikings. I don't see them drafting an OLB that early this year. I don't know who I'd precisely want them to take though, that's a less than ideal way for it to shake out. Lamar Jackson is actually kind of tempting oddly enough. Or it would likely be a spot where the Vikings could trade down with a team that wants Jackson, I doubt Jackson falls to the middle of round two.

Second draft, OL is good with the first pick. I'd be very interested in Averett at CB over OLB. Also, I think the Steelers are meant to be drafting Mason Rudolph, the QB, not signing Mason Crosby and turning him into a QB from K.

If Dallas goes secondary with their first pick I am DONE with that team. 46 years pi$$ed away. They have traveled that road for 20 years now and they still SUCK!

For Cincy,...

In the first one, great pick with Daniels, but I don't like jesfferson in the second, or at all really.  As someone said above, Reid would work there.  But honestly, I would be very tempted if Lamar Jackson is still there at #46.  I'd also strongly consider Price for RG or Orlando Brown for RT

In the second one, I'm grabbing Wynn in the first, and keeping the ragnow pick in the second.

Just out of curiosity, why did you switch the Browns pick at 4? In both your scenarios, Barkley and Chubb are there, yet you switched the pick. Just for fun? Or do you really think it depends on which QB they draft?
