As long as Foster isn't on video beating his GF, then he will likely get a second chance. If he gets a jail sentence though it’s a different story. In that case he’s done. We do need to wait this out and the 49ers likely will given how plea deals work the fallout could be a lot different than the scenarios given. It’s hard to see any other outcome other than a 6 game suspension to begin with as a starter for the NFL given what happened with Elliott.

My understanding was that he was not very good, but I could be wrong. Largely just based on hearsay.

Up and down as most rookies are, but got progressively better towards the end of the season. Could be in for a big year 2 under Patricia.

Dayum lol. LB in San Fran is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts position.

Being charged with a felony and convicted of one are two different things. All of the charges listed in that press release are "wobblers", meaning they can end up being either felonies or misdemeanors. Foster can obviously afford a good attorney, and given that this is a first offense, there's a good probability that he won't be convicted of a felony, and won't face jail time. His career is obviously on very thin ice, but it's probably not over yet.
TheChancellor
I hope he never sets foot on the pitch again. Disgusting. It sucks when you're talented at something in life, but are also complete human garbage.

Makes more sense now, huh? Davis was always the better pick. Casual fans and draftniks do a decent job of evaluating ability of prospects but availability is the most important thing to consider and we are lousy at it. Apparently GMs aren’t much better. There are freaks of nature but more often than not, grit is what’s going to make or break players. How much does someone want it...through what effort will they put in work...and will they be available.
