Not promising there, obviously. I mean, had we not signed Vatanen, I think we may have taken a chance but I don't think Kylington would've stuck on the NHL roster over the 8 guys we have now. Yes, I know Juulsen is a RHD and Kylington is a LHD but both are 23 and have pedigree. I'm good with the defensive group we have. Especially in a shorter season. You can plug and play Kulikov as your 6th/7th dman and not have to worry. You really can't say the same about Kylington. Plus, I don't think we really wanted two guys on the left side that are younger/unproven. One at a time lol and Smith takes precedence.
