He's got more room to improve. I pick him because of the higher ceiling.  He showed noticeable improvement in one week at the Senior Bowl.  Is coachable.

This board fell out in the worst case scenario for us.

In this situation, I think Laundry is the guy (assuming his medicals are good). I'd then go LVE or McGlinchey (LT value... I could see NE possibly wanting to trade up too for him).

I'd take Landry in a 3-4, Davenport in a 4-3.

With the 14th pick, I would take Davenport or Landry, for me, it would be Davenport.

I was going to say take Davenport over Landry (my tiebreaker: take the small school kid who gets up that high because he had to work harder to get noticed), but looking at the corner situation for the Packers, they have next to nothing. Joshua Jackson.

Obviously the ultimate vindication for the Davenport fans will be if the Packers select him with both he and Landry available. The argument will live on if either/both are gone.
