vike daddy
Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller has moved into the league lead in sacks after taking down Josh Rosen twice on Thursday night. Miller now has 7.5 sacks through seven games, putting him half a sack ahead of Vikings defensive and Danielle Hunter and Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, who have seven sacks each. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/20/von-miller-takes-over-nfl-sack-lead-with-two-more-on-thursday-night/
VikeManDan
Hunter was at least credited with .5 sack yesterday, should be back in the league lead! Worth every penny!!

vike daddy
Danielle Hunter does not get talked about enough as one of the league's best defensive players, but the steps he is taking in this, his 24th year on this planet, is otherworldly. Hunter had 3.5 sacks against the Lions and now has 11.5 sacks on the season. His birthday was earlier this week and the production that he is providing proves once again that signing him when they did this offseason (five years, $72 million) will make him one of the biggest bargains in the league with teams so desperate for pass-rush help and those salaries skyrocketing. https://247sports.com/nfl/minnesota-vikings/LongFormArticle/Vikings-Lions-Week-9-takeaways-124279657/#124279657_2
vikingsrule
Would love to see Hunter hit 20 sacks this year. He'd need 8.5 in 7 games, certainly doable.
TENINCH
Elite against the run and now he's elite against the pass. Doesn't matter if he plays LE or RE.

Hunter has another game left against the Lions, so just needs 4.5 sacks in his other 6 games.

SteelKing728
he's sort of came on a year late, but he's been fun to watch. Having Griffen back makes him even more lethal.
dc_vikingfan
Griffen being out may have help Hunter. Getting comfortable playing both sides more, having blocking roll to his side and facing more double teams. With Griffen back, Hunter can go on a sack tear these next couple of weeks. Brady is the qb who doesn't get sacked alot I can't remember where Zim said it but he did say if Hunter develops a inside/counter move he's unblockable. On one sack he did use an inside move the RT was really surprised by it .
Guest
If Hunter could develop a spin move...or any kind of inside move...he'd be unstoppable.
SotanKing
I was comparing Hunter's numbers with likes of Mack, Donald, JJ Watt etc...he either leads or pretty much equal in sacks, leads in number of tackles but the one area where he is clearly behind them is Forced Fumbles. JJ Watt has 6 Forced fumbles, Donald has 4, Mack also has 6 whereas Hunter has 0. Not sure if this is something which he can work upon but it definitely doesn't seem to be a random skill at all. I think it's a general theme for Zimmer's defense. The defense gets the sacks, shuts down the run and gets off the field on third down but the takeaways are lacking.
