swede700
It should be noted that Rodgers was a far superior college QB too compared to Love.
Guest
So, how bad must Damarrius Randle be? He just got released from the Raiders! His third squad since the Packers drafted him #30 in the first round of the 2014 draft!!

I thought I read somewhere that he was a target in the 2nd round that year. But I’d gladly bring him on as the 3rd safety.
vegas492
There's one "cool" thing about Randall. The ball finds him. And he doesn't drop it. He's got a $.10 head and a golden horseshoe up his keister. Maybe the horseshoe has finally fallen out.

Going to debate this....using college statistics. First off...Rodgers was in the conversation as the #1 overall pick. Didn't go down that way, but yah, he was viewed as a potential first overall pick. Love was not, not at all. If I look only at the college stats. Here is Rodgers... Sophomore year, Cal, 215 for 349 61.6% 2903 yards. 19 TD 5 INT. Junior year, Cal, 209 for 316, 66.1% 2566 yards. 24 TD 8 INT. Here is Love (Love also played as a freshman, Rodgers did not, so I'm just taking SOPH and JUN years) Sophomore year, Utah State, 267 for 417, 64% 3567 yards. 32 TD. 6 INT. Junior year, Utah State, 293 for 473, 61.9% 3402 yards. 20 TD. 17 INT. Loves best year in college was better than Rodgers best year in college. Let's look at them combined...for stats... Rodgers. 424 for 665, 63.85% 5469 yards. 43 TD. 13 INT. (.3 INT to TD) Love. 560 for 890. 62.95% 6966 yards. 52 TD. 23 INT. (.44 INT to TD) Add in the fact that Utah state graduated Love's O-line and skill positions his junior year and those numbers look pretty nice. But still...no...Love was not regarded as highly as Rodgers coming out. Stats tell a story, but they are not the entire story.
swede700
Aaron Rodgers would have "love"d to go up against the competition that Utah St traditionally did.

Yeah net ‘A’ had pretty tight coverage on net ‘B’. Best to throw it into the ground and avoid the interception. 😝

May end up being my favorite 2020 draft pick. Edited September 5, 2020 by marshpit23

They'll probably keep 5 WRs: Adams, Allen Lazard (who's very promising, played well at the end of last year), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (freak athlete but inconsistent, though reportedly had a good camp), Equanimeous St Brown (promising rookie season in 2018 but missed all of last year due to injury) and Tyler Ervin (converted RB/returner with barely 100 total receiving yards in a 4 year career). They can run mostly 2-WR sets to minimize the need for receiver depth, but they don't really have a receiving weapon at TE. Jimmy Graham is gone to Chicago. Jace Sternberger (last year's 3rd round pick), was terrible in camp and is at the bottom of the depth chart. They'll probably start 36 year-old Mercedes Lewis (who's mainly just a blocker) and UDFA Robert Tonyan. Their rookie 3rd round pick, Josiah Deguara, probably gets used as a FB / H-back and maybe earns some targets as a Juszczyk-style weapon. And they do have RB depth with AJ Dillon added as a backup. But the offense will rest almost entirely on Davante Adams and Aaron Jones as weapons for Rodgers.
