What's going on in Green Bay? They draft his successor who won't help win now. They don't get Rodgers any help at WR or TE. Rodgers predicts Kumerow will make the squad, and they cut him. It's like they're trying to get him to explode.

Maybe they want Rodgers to force his way out so the front office won't look like the bad guys?

A previous ESPN report indicated Packers receiver Allen Lazard would consult with core muscle specialist Dr. William Meyers. Apparently that already happened and a decision already was made. Lazard underwent core muscle surgery this week and is out indefinitely, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Lazard earned a game ball after making six catches for a career-high 146 yards and a touchdown in the victory over the Saints last Sunday.

Lotta ball game left but Maybe they were fine at WR, RB, TE, all along and the staff knew it and didn’t listen to uninformed pundits?

Since before the Vikings-Packers game, I bet.  The real question is whether he said the same things to his compatriots over in the Cheese Forum, as I guarantee you that they were saying the same exact thing...

Like I said, too premature to say anything Definitely. But GBs Brass sure looks to have made the right decision so far on a bunch of moves that were highly criticized. Including LaFleur, org structure, draft picks, and free agents.

I still think GB should have geared up for one last hurrah with Rodgers and Co.

Not that it matters. GB is probably the best team in the league 4 games into the season.

We'll just have to see if they can maintain it.  It probably helps though that an angry, bitter Rodgers is better than normal Rodgers.

Probably not, but this is arguably the best Rodgers has played since 2011.  When you know he won his first MVP.

And when he joined the 1998 Vikings as a 15+ game winner to fail to win a Super Bowl (and the 4th in a row to do so).  He certainly was motivated that season, probably because he wanted to defend the title (probably was still a little bitter at Favre too, so wanted to do something Favre could never do).  Just to sort of reiterate, a motivated Rodgers (through anger or bitterness or just to prove something) is a better Rodgers.

I mean, you said it. 4 games into the season it appears they did gear up and everyone else was wrong. That sure can change later Into the season of course.

and I don’t think it’s for one last hurrah. Rodgers is here for more than 3 more I think and they have a bunch of good players they need to extend.

I get that’s the popular talking point, but if you’ve followed this year 12 he really hasn’t seemed angry. Quite the opposite and seems to love playing for MLF.
