Would you guys trade a 2nd for Brock Osweiler?

What should the Dolphins give the Browns for Brock?

    • We don't want him because both Jay Cutler and Matt Moore are better and not worth the contract

I would love to hear the specific logic behind this statement. [sic: His] Brock's mechanics are near flawless (only thing that really needs work is getting more lift on the ball near the line of scrimmage to cut down batted passes).

He has prototypical size, he is durable, has above average accuracy, velocity on his passes, and arm strength, good athleticism and escapability in the pocket.

A tremendous part of him looking bad last year was on his team mates, and coaching.

The second paragraph is why he was drafted in the 2nd round. But he has done nothing in the NFL to improve that draft stock. To make matters worse, he has an absolutely atrocious contract connected with him and Miami doesn't have the cap room to take it on even if they wanted to.

As I already stated, Matt Moore has shown far more at the NFL level. And no amount of good play in the preseason is going to change anything. You can blame his teammates and coaching all you want but Osweiler still had some horrendous games with plays that are entirely his fault. And frankly, if he is as good a QB as you say, the Browns would be idiots for trading him at all because that would make him easily the best QB on the roster.

But did you watch the film?

This guy gets it.  In other news, we at the Browns have decided to continue the discussion in our #safespace.  Feel free to join in on the offesason speculation.  Now that Matthews, Watkins & Ronald Darby have been traded, we can see that GMs are not afraid to pull the trigger on big preseason tradess.  In fact, the infrastructure may be being set up for a blcokbuster Brock trade.  Brock and Josh Gordon to the Bills for Joran Matthews and a 2018 1st?  Come on over and cast your vote on the poll:

I figure Cutler is just a stopgap, and it looks like Tannehill is done.  Brok has a few years left on a contract that is below average starter money.  They could just cut Tannehill outright after the season, as he's not due much more guaranteed money.  Or maybe a 3rd plus a future pick ike a 2nd round.

Literally the second worst possible trade, with the worst being a 1st for the guy.

NO PICKS FOR OSWEILLER!!  He's proven that he cannot win at the NFL level.

Ewwwww

and Browns got him on the trading block (not the shop window) by holding him out of PS week 3

Doubt he's moved for more than a 7th in total value. What team is so QB-starved they would give up draft capital to take on a bottom 4 starter and his large cap hit?
