Would you be happy with it? Why or why not? Thanks to all who participated. 1st: With the 28th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Rashaan Evans, linebacker, Alabama 6'1/7 232 2nd: With the 60th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Jessie Bates, safety, Wake Forest 6'1/1 200 3rd: With the 92nd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Shaquem Griffin, linebacker University of Central Florida 6'0/3 227 4th: With the 148th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Kalen Ballage, running back, Arizona State University 6'1/4 228 5th: With the 165th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Poona Ford, defensive tackle, Texas 5'11 303 6th: With the 220th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Wide Receiver, University of South Florida 6'4 206 7th: With the 246th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Jordan Mailata, Tackle, Australian National Rugby League 6'8 346 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cjfollett Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 I gave it a C. I like Evans a lot, and I hope he is the pick. Bates is okay, but I think CB is a better pick for 2. Griffin is a good story, but I am not sure he's a good fit for the Steelers. Ford is decent and can't complain here. The rest is just meh. I'm having a little more trouble than usual getting excited about this year's draft. Evans I like but don't love. Bates is not a typical Steelers safety so he's a bit of a projection and a risk. Griffin obviously is an unknown commodity playing in the NFL. Ever year is a crapshoot to some degree. Like it well enough but not doing backflips. Gave it a B.
