James Lofton
Brian Bulaga has been a dominate right tackle when healthy. Would you be willing to cut him after he refused a pay cut? https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/2018/4/26/17284176/report-packers-tackle-bryan-bulaga-refused-request-to-take-a-pay-cut
Kepler
Would GB be on the hook for some kind of injury settlement?
AlexGreen#20
Why the hell would you cut your starter for 4.75 million in cap space?
cannondale
I'll put it this way. He is worth more to the Packers this year than he is in a trade or cut
Stevein2012
and use the meager savings for what exactly??
MacReady
Dominant. And yes.
SSG
What exactly are we going to use the savings on? Is he worth his contract? Probably not because of his injuries but there are plenty of Packers who are vastly overpaid... Randall Cobb and CM3 are 2 that come to mind very quickly as 2 of the more overpaid players in the league. At this point, salary cap space matters very little given the caliber of players available. Right now, Buluga is more valuable than any salary cap space gained.
Bignutz
No,not worth it. Doesn’t matter how good he is when he seems to be hurt half the time.

Golfman
I'd hardly describe Bulaga as 'dominant'. He hasn't been at even a pro-bowl level in about three years. Oh, and he doesn't stay on the field. Will he be healthy be TC? Will he start season on PUP? Not enough information about cutting him but if he's a candidate to be on PUP to start the season, buh bye. FAH1223
Who is out there that’s as good or better? You ain’t gonna sign a starting RT at this point in free agency.
Housegoat
Any idea when he's even a possibility to return? I didn't read the article after I saw it was a refusal to take the pay cut..
jleisher
Health, yes, well worth just under $5m. On the IR with bad knees, could be an open door on the right side to Rodgers, not worth it. I said this in my mocks and I'll say it again, OL is a big need in this draft.

Does he really think he wil get clsoe to 8 million when the Packers cut him. I don't see it maybe 5 or 6 million but thats top dollar.
